Project Limelight does not gather any personal information other than the information you supply to us when you register for the site. Registration is not required to access the site, but is required in order to comment or post.

Registration

You are required to have a valid email address to register for the site, and you must create a username and password. Your username does not have to be your real name, in fact, we recommend that for you privacy you not use your real name.

We do not share or sell user information with any third party without your express permission, unless required by law.

Your password is stored on the server in encrypted form. We cannot see or access any passwords. If you lose your password, you can request a new one from the system.

Comment and Message Policy

Commenting and posting messages is only allowed by registered members. By commenting or posting a message on ProjectLimelight.org, you are agreeing to have that information appear on the site indefinitely. We do not actively monitor, edit, or delete messages unless they are in direct violation of the site rules. Requests from members to have messages edited or deleted generally will not be honored.

Cookies

We may place a text file called a “cookie” in the browser files of your computer. The only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie can’t read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites.  You can refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser. If you’ve set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies, you will receive the warning message with each cookie. You do not need to have cookies turned on to use this site, however, you will not be able to log in and comment or post messages if cookies are disabled.
